Peter Bortolotti -aka the Professor

Peter’s music performances reflect his eclectic lifelong passion for Classic Rock, Blues, Folk, Country, and Americana with some occasional Jazz and popular music thrown in for good measure. In the RI music scene, Peter is perhaps best known as the founder of the popular RI band Tanya McIntyre & The Professors, nominated by Motif Magazine as one of Rhode Island’s best cover bands for four consecutive years (2016-2019). Peter works in collaboration with The Same Thing Project (STP) a “community songwriting” workshop for people from all walks of life. Most recently Peter has created Rhode Tunes which brings together many of the best RI area musicians performing original tunes and covers with other artists and friends.

Miles Leon - Saxophone - Pop, Funk, Soul

Miles is a proud native of Atlanta, Georgia, where he studied under iconic Atlanta jazz artists Joseph Jennings and Danny Harper. He went on to study jazz formally at Bard College in Upstate New York. It was there he blossomed as a player, composer, and educator. He found his composing voice while studying under the award-winning saxophonist and composer Erica Lindsay, leading him to compose numerous arrangements and conducting for Bard’s Contemporary Jazz Ensemble. Miles took an amazing opportunity to travel the world and became a saxophonist and woodwind doubler on the Celebrity Equinox cruise ship. This job has taken him to over 20 islands, with Martinique and Curacao being his favorites (so far)! He was also featured as a soloist for notable headliners such as Grammy-nominated saxophonist Tommy Proulx and Nashville country music star Ashlie-Amber Harris. Miles has crafted his own headlining show and currently travels the world on all major cruise lines as a headliner performing his two shows: Rock with You: A Tribute to the King of Pop and Funk Your Soul: A Tribute Celebrating Funk and Soul Artists.

La Méchante et Le Connard-standards, French and pop charts with a swing twist

La Méchante et le Connard are a Franco-American duo of ukulele, double bass, and voice… did you say ukulele? Yes, ukulele. Casey Jayne and Cyril spend the year in Sancerre, France, touring the country for concerts, festivals, and events, everything from the Cannes Film Festival to local concerts.  Each summer, they travel to Newport, Rhode Island, Casey’s hometown, playing more festivals and concerts. The acoustic duo plays warm and fun music, all with an elegant French touch.  The repertoire is a mix of jazz-age standards and popular hits, arranged specifically for the instrumentation.  Unique arrangements and fresh takes on all the songs you already love will have your toes tapping, your face smiling, and singing along. For those who are not francophone, please do google the name, but don’t worry… on est gentils!

An East Bay Singer/Songwriter, Beth Barron, is a bluesy, sultry songstress who delivers her originals with passion and honesty. A folk musician who implements a blues and gospel twist to her music. Beth Barron has been active in the providence community creating positive spaces for others to share their music as well, which includes, several established and successful open mics across Rhode Island, Beth is a board member of the RI Folk Festival and is founder of RI event, “Ladies of Folk.”

Johnny’s latest release is Rocket Wine, with Lisa Marie, A collection of Lisa's original songs that mix New Orleans-inspired blues and R&B.
